    @Ron Troncatty
    You must believe that hurricanes are caused because of gay marriage

    Can someone explain to me why Aaron Sorkin fired his writers?

    Having visited an travelled in America, granted not all of it, I found it to be a great place. Maybe that’s because of the scenic views, most of who I met, and the time I had there.

    I’ve also experienced the same opportunities in other countries, to experience what I found there also.

    As to being the greatest country in the world… It’s not a moniker I agree with.

    Why would such a moniker exist. Sure, it’s a better experience there than one may find in some countries, but not the best.

    LOL yup polarbear … people vote with their feet and where do they want to live? The USA. Last time I looked, there weren’t any American boat people amongst our asylum seekers to Australia. You have an exceptionally wonderful country and I’d love to live in America. It’s sort of cringeworthy watching all this self flagellation by some of your countrymen. Cheers mate.

    I think you’ll find that it’s not because of hospitals. It’s because of your high incidence of vehicle deaths. However, if I had an accident I wouldn’t exactly turn down a US hospital. They’re hardly poor examples and are still on the cutting edge. Cheers from Down Under

    Well then that means there are still dozens of countries with better hospitals than the US.

    You guys make me laugh … it’s a good thing to be 178th. It’s a bad thing to be 1st. The highest rates of child mortality are still in sub-Saharan Africa — where 1 in 8 children dies before age 5.

    The problem is that they’re not facts! It’s a script after all.

    You know what they say when you “assume” things LOL. However, in this case mmille10 is correct. US infant mortality would be lower but for the fact of a higher representation in vehicle deaths … 🙁 … Cheers from Down Under (being Australia)

    Exactamundo! The highest rates of child mortality are still in sub-Saharan Africa where 1 in 8 children dies before age 5. It is not desirable to be number 1 in other words. Cheers from Down Under.

    “I’m a registered republican. I only seem liberal because I believe hurricanes are cause by high barometric pressure, not gay marriage.”

    This is just the greatest quote ever.

    The beautiful thing about this is that people are listening, watching, and commenting, and this is healthy and a stepping stone to progress. Disparity in income with the 1% owning the rest of us, a deficit which has hit the roof, a healthcare which is too expensive, millions who don’t have a job, a financial system which is corrupt, a FAT nation with the worst diet, crime rate and a gun-lobby that pays off politicians to remain quiet, and a system which is broken….
